The Big Sales Lesson For Women Entrepreneurs From Sex and The City
Edmonton, AB (PRWEB) May 22, 2008 -- What did a little HBO television show that was only on air for 6 years (and barely made it through the first 3 seasons by the way) do to garner such attention and hype for its soon to be released movie? Kim Duke, of The Sales Divas Inc who just released her new High Speed Sales Stiletto Camp Home Study Program for women, says there is one big lesson that women entrepreneurs can learn from the internationally renowned TV show.
"Sex and The City turned women into raving fans." says Duke, who teaches selling to women entrepreneurs internationally.
How?
"Although the show was different, risky, often shocking...what it did best was portray female friendships. It absolutely resonated with the hearts and minds of every woman who has ever dated a dud with small hands and bad breath or struggled with finding their way in this world." Duke says "You can never say that Sex and The City played it safe and didn't take chances. You may love or hate the show but what you can't deny is the power o their fans."
She encourages women business owners to look at their businesses and see if they are creating a "Fan Club". Her newly launched High Speed Sales Stiletto Camp Home Study Program (http://www.salesdivas.com/HSSSC_HSP.php) includes insights into how to create your own "Fan Club" and sell without feeling or sounding like a sleazy salesperson.
Duke says "There are 5 questions women entrepreneurs should ask about their "loyal customer fans". Do they: ? help spread the word about your business for free? ? notice you're taking some chances and launching new products and services? ? supply you with ideas on how to grow your business? ? hear from you on a regular basis - via an e-zine, event, direct mail and the phone? ? buy everything (or almost everything) you put in front of them because they trust you so much?
If so - then congratulations! If not - then lady - you have some work to do.
"Creating a community of fans is the BEST thing you can do to grow your sales. It takes time, hard work and dedication to rising above the humdrum." says Duke.
"Instead of putting all that time into cold calling strangers - how about speaking to the people who already love you? And then ask them to tell people about you! (which they'll do anyway if they love what you do)"
